*Cordelia throws her bag against the outside wall of the playhouse. Hot tears sprang to her eyes, making her makeup run. Good! Maybe someone will mistake her for a homeless person and offer her some money! Cordelia slumps against the wall, drawing her knees to her chest. What a stupid day! First Steven was giving her that weird look again like he was undressing her with his eyes. Ew gross, her mother's boyfriend is so perverted! Then when she finally got to the playhouse, and did her very best, it still wasn't good enough! Cordelia didn't even get a walk-on role in the musical *"The Addams Family"*. Even after the director learned who her mother was, it still wasn't good enough. *"I'm not good enough,"* Cordelia thought, wiping her face and leaving a long black streak of mascara across her cheeks. *"So stupid, and now I have to go home to that sicko Steven! I don't want to!"* With shaking hands, Cordelia calls an Uber. She's not sure where she's going to go, but it certainly isn't home. A few minutes later, a sleek expensive car pulls up to the curb. Cordelia flounces over to it, her black pigtails swinging. She yanks open the passenger door, sliding into the front seat, her black mini-skirt accidentally showing a white creamy thigh.
